Saw that he used a combination of smoke and cover to sink bot ships. I was sank in the final stage and observed him during the last moments. I noticed that he would use cover in very clever ways and pounce on enemies distracted by friendly cruisers/battleships, sinking them with a expertly timed spread of torpedoes. I was in a game with a player driving a Mahan and he is really good (sexist assumption here, might have been a female player.). I'm always up for some good elite captain farming. I take a Leningrad/Anshan to address any issues and emergencies as they come up during scenario runs. The DD will survive if the driver actually knows what they are doing. The Missouri that spawns in the first harbor will ram the transport ships, BB's and Ca's with torps are very useful here, Take out the 2 enemy CV's as soon as practical (where a CV is useful), Splitting the fleet for both left and right into the final harbor is helpful since the ships unloading troops do it on both sides with the repair ship taking the middle, The assault ships will outrun your fleet, keeping a ship in front of the lead assault ship will slow the group down, It isn't gospel but.įully spec your BB or CA for AA, target incoming aircraft, I posted this on another forum, hopefully, this may help some who are having a difficult time.
